Plain buttery biscuits with vanilla flavour.
Making these biscuits is quite quick and easy as the dough is spooned in small pieces onto the baking-sheet. These biscuits do need either butter or any other flavour to complement the vanilla- I tried making them with margarine and they turned out quite plain.
Gluten-Free: Using gluten-free flour worked ok, but the biscuits turned hard after 2 or 3 days in a tin.
Vegan: Use margarine or vegan butter and plant-based milk. Make sure you add enough vanilla or even another interesting taste, such as grated lemon zest, cocoa or aniseed.
